It's Time! Ke Nako!

Today, I had the undeniable privilege to attend the Its Time! event in Pretoria. The main speaker was Angus Buchan, although the guest of honour was, undeniably, God Himself. We set up our picnic on the outskirts of one of the satellite broadcasting stations, but when it was time for the main event to start, we made our way over the main stage. The atmosphere was electric! You could literally feel the presence of the Holy Spirit among the worshippers as we all lifted our hands in unison to honour Jesus. I have no idea what the actual number of people was who was present there today, but I know that eyes were met by a sea of people wherever I looked. Compliments to the organizers for making things run so smoothly. Even the traffic flow was free and without congestion. But above all, praise and honour to God for meeting us today. It was thrilling to hear all those voices ring out in unison as we prayed for the issues that plague our country today. May God honour our prayers as we continue to pray for His hand to guide our nation. I share a couple of photos taken during the course of the day in today's blog.

It was a long and dusty trek across the farm to get to the arena from where we had parked, but we soon realized the necessity of this, when we saw the amount of people assembled at the various stations.

We arrived early and stayed for an extended picnic when all was over to give the worst of the traffic a chance to subside.

Good food, good friends, and good company, makes for an enjoyable day, even in the most trying circumstances.

The worship team was absolutely incredible, and instead of getting the impression that one was at a concert, the worship leaders kept the attention focused upon God, and not themselves.

We managed to find a fortunate spot very close to the stage from where we could be part of the heart of the event.

I moved a little farther away to get a better shot of the people surrounding the stage.

It was only when people started dispersing that we finally got an inkling of exactly how many people had to have been present at the event.
